Should the Raptors make a big trade this season

With the Raptors off to an unexpected start to the season, with a record of 16-8 the question lies if the Raptors should make a big time trade to make a deeper playoff run. Although it’s starting to get a little worrisome for the team as they have lost their last 4 out of 5 games. But there is also to consider that the Raptors have been playing without Fred VanVleet and Pascal Siakiam and Kyle Lowry have both been in a slump recently. My answer to the question is no, as the Raptors have a solid team with a healthy VanVleet and in form Lowry and Siakiam. We also have a very good defensive unit as the Raptors have held their opponents to the lowest field goal percentage. My advice to the organization would be to wait and see how this team develops. We have a lot of younger players who need time to grow and develop. Patience is the best option at this point in the season

What’s new

With Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka still out till probably December 1st, Pascal Siakiam and Fred Vanvleet having been playing All-Star level basketball as without Lowry and Ibaka, the Raptors have improved to an impressive 8-2. On pace to tie their previous franchise record of starting the season 16-4. This is good signs for the organization as they haven’t skipped a beat since winning the championship. It’s back to business as usual and role players in the previous season such as Siakiam and Vanvleet have made a huge leap and at this very moment are carrying the team to wins. The goal for the season would likely be get Siakiam and Vanvleet more touches as their growth is very vital for the organizations future.
